After first becoming a court reporter in 1992, then learning the business by working for others for five years, Kirsty started First Choice Reporting in 1997 in Orlando, Florida.
From the beginning and to this day, Kirsty has navigated First Choice through dramatic growth and continuous change. Kirsty credits her professional success to three solid principles: Listen to what your customers are telling you and deliver the best service; recruit and retain the very best reporters; and finally, surround yourself with a team of like-minded, talented people who share your vision.
Despite this success, there is no doubt that making the transition from a home office with five clients and two employees to a dynamic firm with thousands of clients and over 40 employees at 12 locations can be challenging! But through it all, Kirsty kept some sage advice from her mother close to her heart. "Do the right thing, strive to be the best, take care of your clients and your team, and you will succeed ."
Kirsty is a Registered Court Reporter (RPR) and active member of the National Court Reporter's Association, Florida Court Reporters Association and STAR Association. Kirsty and her husband, Peter (who is also the CFO) reside in Orlando, Florida and are blessed with a three year-old daughter, Kaira.

Krystal joined First Choice Reporting in 2001 with a passion for business and a desire to help her sister grow the company. Since then a relentless pursuit of excellence has managed to see Krystal involved in many areas of the business.
Over the years Krystal’s balance of focus between technology and customer service has helped First Choice to build a Customer Centric Culture through the development and implementation of systems and processes, which have become the industry benchmark and an invaluable asset to their team, reporters and clients.
While systems, processes and operational fire fighting are among her core skills, Krystal’s passion is fueled by a love for the relationships that she has made along the way, the impact she has made on First Choice and the industry as a whole. Krystal considers herself a true entrepreneur and attributes her sales acumen to her mom who has also been in the sales industry for most of her career.
Krystal strives to foster a simple principle from the teachings of Lao Tzu, “Kindness in words creates confidence. Kindness in thinking creates profoundness. Kindness in giving creates love”.
